The International Agency for Crime Prevention and Security Policies aims to promote and support on various levels, initiatives and actions to stimulate and enhance crime prevention activities, especially of the organized nature, to contribute to achieving and maintaining a climate of community safety for citizens.
To achieve the goal proposed by the Statute, the Agency aims to develop activities which aimed at, among others, the facilitation of the exchange of information in preventing and combating acts of organized crime at national and international level, the promotion of the exchange of experience and best practices, development and implementing programs to reduce drug demand and supply, preventing and combating human trafficking, bank fraud, cyber crime, money laundering, of social programs for awareness of vulnerability to the effects of crime etc.

The International Agency for Crime Prevention and Security Policies develops many partnerships with various government institutions and NGOs. In this regard, an distinguished importance had the International Anti-drug Brigade, led by the Dipl. ec. Petar Nenov, which developed and conducted, and will further develop an active policy to attract an important number of partners in Romanian public space.

Study: 22 million Americans use illegal drugs
More than 22 million Americans age 12 and older - nearly 9% of the U.S. population - use illegal drugs, according to the government’s 2010 National Survey on Drug Use and Health.
The overall rate of drug use is only slightly higher than the 2009 study but nearly a percentage point above the 2008 survey.
